Finals are done, grades are in, and the semester placement is over: time for summer to begin! Being a graduate student in Speech Pathology, I have a busy three months ahead of me with another placement, diagnostic team, and (potentially) studying for upcoming comprehensive exams. Any thoughts or worries related to all that work was put off over the weekend as I kicked off the summer with friends at the season opener of the Lawn on D, a playground designed for adults tucked away in South Boston. There was plenty of music, food trucks, lawn games, and even swings to enjoy during the night. I’m sure it will be a place I will aim to visit on my relatively freer days.
